Empowering Students with Creative Sewing Skills
How classes at Upcycling Revolution work:
All classes are in 4 week sessions.
All classes are 1.5 hours long.
All classes meet once a week.
All classes are limited to 6 students per class.
Any students is welcome to sign up for more than one class but not to exceed 12 hours in a week.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for the $5 per day rental fee for the sewing machine.

At Upcycling Revolution, charter school students step into a world of creativity where the classes are not a mix of fun & learning while transforming old clothes into one-of-a-kind pieces of wearable art. In this warm, supportive environment, students collaborate, laugh, and discover just how cool sustainability can be. From beginner stitches to unique designs, we’re all about celebrating progress, fostering creativity, and making sure every student leaves with a big smile and a newfound love for upcycling!
Please Note: There is $5.00 rental fee (per day) for sewing machines that must be paid by the parent.

Intro to Sewing
Our Intro to Sewing class is perfect for beginners looking to master the basics of sewing, including how to operate a sewing machine and complete simple projects.

With winter right around the corner, now is a good time to make some comfy pj pants!

Skirt
In our Basic Skirt Making class, you’ll learn how to create a custom skirt from scratch, covering the basics like making a pattern, cutting fabric, and assembling seams. By the end of the class, you'll walk away with a beautifully handmade skirt tailored to your style and measurements.
